How to Respond if a Michigan Dog Attack is Imminent

Bay City law enforcement has revealed that a woman who was found dead inside of her home was killed by one or more pet dogs. An autopsy performed by the Bay County Medical Examiner’s Office determined that the woman passed away from several bites inflicted by two pit bull dogs. The animals were later removed from the home and taken to a nearby animal control center.

Based on the most recent statistics compiled by State Farm, Michigan is one of the top 10 states for dog bite accidents. In 2017, there were approximately 167 dog bite claims in Michigan.
