PERSONAL INJURY DEPARTMENT

As a military child, Elissa moved a lot in her younger years, living in places including Alaska, Tennessee, and Japan. After graduating from Gaylord High School in 2001, she attended Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo. Upon graduation in 2007, Elissa moved to the Central Michigan area. She started working as a legal assistant in 2009, handling personal injury, social security, and workers' compensation cases.

Elissa joined Jay Trucks & Associates, P.C. in October 2023, bringing 14 years of legal experience with her.

She lives with her husband and two sons. Elissa enjoys volunteering on her lake association, where she has held the position of Secretary for the past several years. In her free time, she likes to hike, camp, be on a boat of any kind, and play darts. Elissa Lyon
