These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the websites, landing pages, online forms, online intake systems, telephone programs, text-message programs, and other online services operated by Jay Trucks & Associates, PC (“Jay Trucks,” “the Firm,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). Collectively, these websites, forms, communications, and services are referred to in these Terms as the “Services.”
By accessing or using the Services, submitting a form, or communicating with the Firm, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the Services.
1. No Legal Advice
The information provided through the Services is for general informational purposes only and does not constitute legal advice. Every legal matter is different, and the outcome of any matter depends on its specific facts and applicable law.
You should not act, or refrain from acting, based on information available through the Services without first seeking advice from a qualified attorney licensed in your jurisdiction. Reviewing the Services, or contacting the Firm, does not substitute for individualized legal advice.
2. No Attorney-Client Relationship
Submitting an online form, sending an email, leaving a voicemail, communicating by text message, or receiving a response from the Firm does not, by itself, create an attorney-client relationship.
An attorney-client relationship is formed only after the Firm has:
- Confirmed that it is willing and able to accept the matter; and
- Entered into an applicable written engagement agreement with the client.
Until an engagement agreement is signed, please do not send highly sensitive or extensive confidential information, and do not rely on an online submission to protect a filing deadline, statute of limitations, appeal deadline, notice requirement, or other time-sensitive legal right.
3. No Guarantee of Results
Prior results, case summaries, verdicts, settlements, and testimonials described anywhere in the Services do not guarantee or predict a similar outcome in any other matter. Any references to recoveries reflect the facts of particular cases and are not a promise of what the Firm can obtain for you.
4. Eligibility and Acceptable Use
You must be at least 18 years old, or have the involvement of a parent or legal guardian, to use the Services or submit information through them. By using the Services, you agree that you will not:
- Use the Services for any unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive purpose;
- Submit false, misleading, or impersonated information;
- Transmit viruses, malware, or other harmful code;
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Services, our systems, or related networks;
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity, security, or performance of the Services;
- Scrape, harvest, or collect information about other users; or
- Use the Services in a way that violates any applicable law or regulation.
5. Telephone Calls and Text Messages
When you provide a telephone number and separately consent where required, you authorize Jay Trucks & Associates, PC to contact you about your inquiry or requested services at the number provided. Communications may include telephone calls, text messages, automated messages, or prerecorded messages, depending on the consent you provided and applicable law.
Your consent to receive automated or marketing communications is not a condition of hiring the Firm or receiving legal services.

By opting in to our text-message program, you agree to receive recurring text messages from or on behalf of the Firm related to your inquiry, consultation, intake, or legal matter.
- Message frequency: Message frequency varies based on your inquiry and your communications with the Firm.

We do not sell, rent, or share mobile phone numbers, SMS opt-in information, or messaging consent information with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. For details on how we handle this information, see our Privacy Policy.
6. Intellectual Property
The Services and their contents — including text, graphics, logos, images, video, page layouts, and the selection and arrangement of content — are owned by or licensed to the Firm and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual-property laws.
You may view and print content from the Services for your own personal, non-commercial use in connection with evaluating or obtaining legal services. You may not otherwise copy, reproduce, republish, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from the Services without our prior written permission.
7. Third-Party Websites and Services
The Services may contain links to social-media platforms, maps, videos, government resources, medical resources, or other third-party websites and services. We provide these links for convenience only and do not endorse and are not responsible for the content, products, or practices of any third party. Your use of a third-party website or service is governed by that third party’s own terms and privacy policies.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Firm disclaims all warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free, that defects will be corrected, or that the Services or the servers that make them available are free of viruses or other harmful components.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Firm and its attorneys, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, use, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the Services, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law, including the professional responsibilities the Firm owes to its clients.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Firm and its attorneys, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of your misuse of the Services or your violation of these Terms or any applicable law.
11. Governing Law
These Terms and any dispute arising out of or related to the Services are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. You agree that any legal action relating to the Services that is not otherwise subject to a separate engagement agreement will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Michigan.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our Services, technology, vendors, legal requirements, or practices. When we update these Terms, we will revise the “Last Updated” date at the top of the page. Your continued use of the Services after an updated version is posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
