Sheila Salmon, Legal Secretary

Prior to joining Jay Trucks & Associates in March 2011, Sheila worked at a successful optometric office in Mt. Pleasant for many years. “The skills that I have gained from my employment at The Eyesite have given me the confidence to continue to provide excellent client service in the Workers’ Compensation Department at Jay Trucks & Associates.”

Sheila has lived in Shepherd for 24 years and loves what a small town has to offer. She also continues to work part-time in the transportation department with Shepherd Public Schools.

When she is not working, Sheila enjoys spending time with her husband, three daughters, and son. They love to go camping in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, and have hiked and visited many beautiful places there. She has enjoyed watching her daughters participate in basketball, cross country, and cheerleading. Currently, hockey is the main event for her son, and she enjoys all of his games. When she has free time to herself, Sheila likes to read and write. She is also a Scrabble fan and loves to go to Christian concerts.
